The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) / Assistant Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2025.

• Minimum six years approved service in feeder cadre as on 01 July 2025.
• MEA candidates should complete mandatory departmental training.

• Computer Based Examination (300 Marks)
• Evaluation of APAR / Service Records (100 Marks)
• Final Merit List

• Computer Based Examination
• Paper-I : 150 Marks
• Paper-II : 150 Marks
• Total Marks : 300
• Negative Marking : 0.25 Marks
• Duration : 3 Hours for each paper

Salary

• Pay Level-7
• ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
• HRA, DA, TA and other Central Government allowances applicable.
