Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 192 Act Apprentice Posts

Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), under the Ministry of Railways, has released the official notification for Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2026. A total of 192 Act Apprentice vacancies have been announced for candidates who have completed 10th class with ITI certification in relevant trades.

The application process started on 28 February 2026 and the last date to submit the offline application form is 01 April 2026 (before 17:00 hrs). Candidates must download the application form from the official website and submit it through Registered Post or by dropping it in the drop box at Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

General Information / Instructions

• Rail Wheel Factory Administration is the nodal agency for processing applications and preparing the merit list.
• Selected candidates must execute a Contract of Apprenticeship with the employer before commencement of training.
• If the candidate is a minor, the guardian must sign the apprenticeship contract.
• Candidates must register their apprenticeship contract on the official apprenticeship portal: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
• After completing the training and passing the NCVT trade test, candidates will receive a Certificate of Proficiency issued by NCVT.
• Candidate details such as name, parent name and date of birth must exactly match the details in Matriculation and Aadhaar certificates.
• Reservation and age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India and Railway Board rules.
• Candidates working in Government/PSU organizations must apply through proper channel.
• Completion of apprenticeship training does not guarantee employment in Railways.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• No hostel facility will be provided. Candidates must arrange accommodation on their own.
• No TA/DA will be paid for document verification.
• Candidates must submit only one application. Multiple applications will be rejected.
• The merit list of selected candidates will be published on the official website.

Documents Required (Self-Attested Photocopies)

• 10th / Matriculation marks certificate with Date of Birth proof.
• National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT.
• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates in Government format.
• Disability certificate issued by competent medical board (if applicable).
• Two passport size photographs duly self-attested.
• Discharge certificate for wards of Ex-Servicemen or Railway employees.
• Employment Exchange Registration card.
• Certificate for wards of Railway employees in prescribed format.
• Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft of ₹100 (if applicable).

1. Download the application form (Annexure-A) and annexures from the official website: https://rwf.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Fill the application form carefully ensuring details match Matriculation records.
3. Affix a recent passport size photograph on the application form.
4. Attach all required self-attested documents including 10th marks sheet, ITI certificate, caste certificate and employment exchange registration.
5. Attach IPO / Demand Draft of ₹100 if applicable.
6. Fill and sign the checklist in Annexure-F.
7. The completed application may be dropped in the Drop Box at Rail Wheel Factory Personnel Department.
