DRDO NSTL Paid Internship Recruitment 2026 – Apply for 35 Internship Posts
Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released the official notification for DRDO NSTL Paid Internship Recruitment 2026. A total of 35 Paid Internship positions are available for eligible students pursuing Engineering and Science courses.
Interested candidates who are pursuing B.E/B.Tech (Final Year) or M.Sc (Second Year) in relevant disciplines can apply by sending their application through email. The internship will be conducted for a period of 6 months at the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month. Applications must be submitted before the last date of 23 March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing B.E/B.Tech Final Year with minimum CGPA of 7.5.
- Students pursuing M.Sc Second Year must have minimum 75% marks.
- The course must be from AICTE/UGC approved college or university.
- Students must be enrolled in a full-time course.
How to Apply for DRDO NSTL Paid Internship 2026
- Scanned copy of the application form duly filled in all respects along with the Reference / Request letter from the college for Paid Internship (as per the prescribed format) must be sent to the Director, NSTL via email only.
- No hard copy of the application will be accepted for the internship.
- Email ID for submitting the application:

“Application for paid internship with branch code for which the candidate is applying”. - Last date for submitting the application is:
23 March 2026 (17:00 Hrs) - Emails received after the above mentioned date and time will not be considered.
Documents to be Submitted
- Filled in application form as per the prescribed format.
- Copy of marksheets of the latest semester / academic year.
- Copy of Aadhaar Card.
- Reference / Request letter from the college for Paid Internship in the prescribed format.
- Brief Bio-Data (less than 300 words) highlighting academic achievements, skills, and accomplishments.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: Below 25 Years as on 01 May 2026.
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules.
DRDO NSTL Internship Salary
Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000
- Internship duration is 6 months.
- Stipend will be paid in two installments.
- First installment after completion of 3 months.
- Second installment after completion of 6 months.
- Payment will be transferred directly to the intern’s bank account.
