SBI SCO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification (As on 31.01.2026)

• Assistant Vice President (IS Audit): BE / BTech / BSc in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with minimum 50% marks OR BCA / MCA OR MTech / MSc in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks.
• Deputy Manager (IS Audit): Same qualification as AVP (IS Audit).
• Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit): Chartered Accountant (CA) with active ICAI membership.

Preferred Certifications

CISA, CISSP, CISM, DISA, ISO 27001 LA, CEH, GIAC. For CA Internal Audit posts, CISA / DISA is desirable.

Experience Requirement (Post Qualification, as on 31.01.2026)

• AVP (IS Audit): Minimum 6 years experience in BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy, including minimum 3 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit / Information Security Consultancy.
• Deputy Manager (IS Audit): Minimum 3 years experience in BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy, including minimum 2 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit / Information Security Consultancy.
• Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit): Minimum 1 year experience in Statutory / Internal / Concurrent Audit of Banks or with CA firms handling bank audits.

Age Limit (As on 31.01.2026)

Age Relaxation

• SC / ST: 5 Years
• OBC (NCL): 3 Years
• PwBD (UR / EWS): 10 Years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
• PwBD (SC / ST): 15 Years

Other Requirements

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Good CIBIL score and no loan default history.
• Willingness for mobile duty / travelling as per SBI requirements.

SBI SCO Selection Process 2026

• Shortlisting of candidates based on eligibility and experience.
• Interview for shortlisted candidates.
• Interview carries 100 marks.
• For AVP post, CTC negotiation will be done after interview.
• Final merit list will be prepared based on interview marks.
• In case of tie, older candidate will be placed higher in merit.
• Document verification and medical examination will be conducted before final appointment.

No written examination will be conducted. Interview call letters will be sent only through email.
